Fascinating Cards gets full funding for 2021 U.S. Congress set

Election Day has come and gone and the final votes are still being counted but one thing is for sure.

There will be 2021 U.S. Congress Trading Cards.

Fascinating Cards' Kickstarter campaign has hit its $60,000 goal with time to spare, meaning that its set will become a reality in ways that go beyond its hit first edition.

The checklist isn't yet final -- not until those last ballots are counted and certified -- this set is exactly what it sounds like ... trading cards for the 535 U.S. Representatives and Senators with some bonus inclusions when it arrives. That is targeted as March 1 (depending on the timing of some autograph returns).

Some of the inclusions teased for this one are autographs, state quarter relics and sketch cards for starters. There also are plans for serial-numbered chase cards and chromium-stock cards in the mix. Inserts are approximated at one in five packs right now, according to the early details. There also will be cut autographs from past senators with Ted Kennedy mentioned. Boxes of this one will have 18 packs and there will be eight boxes per case when they arrive. Each case will yield two complete sets of cards. There also will be factory sets made for those who don't want to build the set themselves.

While the first series of this one was a quick near sell-out, this release will have a larger run -- roughly 1,000 copies per card this time vs. just 100 for the first one. This set will carry a different design and new info for all cards as well as updated photos and even "Rookie Card" notations for newcomers as applicable. There also will be other improvements to legibility, design, packaging and more for the second release from the company. You can get a look at some of the cards below.
