Fascinating Cards launches 2021 U.S. Congress set Kickstarter

If you missed out on the first series don't worry, they're coming back -- and this time there's a Kickstarter campaign to help it happen even better than before.

Election Day marks the end of campaigns but it's the starting point for Fascinating Cards as the company is working on its 2021 U.S. Congress Trading Cards set.

It's exactly what it sounds like -- cards for the 535 U.S. Representatives and Senators -- with some bonus inclusions when it arrives, which, if all goes to plan, will be in April.

The Kickstarter campaign launched today and some of the new inclusions teased are the possibility of autographed cards, state quarter relics, "yard-used" campaign sign cards, business card relics and more. There are also plans for serial-numbered cards as well as parallels and even the possibility of some of those appearing on chromium stock. Quarter cards also will have parallels (/10). Inserts are approximated at one in five packs right now, according to the campaign's details.

While the first series of this one was a quick near sell-out this release aims to have a larger presence -- roughly 1,000 copies per card this time vs. just 100 for the first one -- and the Kickstarter goal is already over the $10,000 mark in its march toward a goal of $60,000 that will help make this one happen.

Pledgers will get cards, of course, with the varying tiers offering different packages and discount codes if they want even more. Some can even just land a set if they don't want to chase it from packs.

This one will carry a different design and new info for all cards as well as updated photos and even "Rookie Card" notations for newcomers as applicable. There also will be other improvements to legibility, design, packaging and more for the second release from the company.
