Fast Five is a quick list that might offer a basic starting point for a themed collection or new focus -- five things that could be fun for a beginner or a new way to add something to your stash if you're a grizzled veteran.
This time? Five NFL players who impressed Buzz in Week 1.
A STAR OFF THE RADAR?
Kyler Murray -- QB, Arizona Cardinals (Rookie Cards in 2019 boxes)
He's put up big numbers in the past -- 7,982 yards and 50 TDs in his career -- but the opener was a big one as the Cardinals knocked off the Tennessee Titans 38-13 with him throwing for 289 yards and four TDs. Was that expected? Maybe, maybe not. (I didn't.) He's still pricey but my gut feeling is that other QBs from recent years might be getting a little more attention than Murray. Sure, he's pricey -- most younger QBs are -- but I think if you find some cheaper options here there is potential with a successful season. I think he's easily the top dog on his team for cardboard.
Keep reading for four more making up the list this time.
OUT OF NOWHERE?
Elijah Mitchell -- RB, San Francisco 49ers (Rookie Cards in 2021 boxes)
Only five RBs topped the 100-yard mark this week (excluding today's game) and this guy was third on the list with 104 yards and a TD in their win over the Lions. This sixth-round pick out of Louisiana doesn't gave the flashiest autograph -- and he has a lot of draft picks autos in his college gear -- but I think the key here is that he doesn't have a lot of 49ers cards at the moment and those stand out as a little different and a little more interesting to me. Will he stick? Well, we've seen some names with the 49ers RBs do well in recent years -- at least in the short-term -- and Mitchell was active over third-round pick Trey Sermon to play. Meanwhile, Raheem Mostert ended up hurt.

HURTS SO GOOD
Jalen Hurts -- QB, Philadelphia Eagles (Rookie Cards in 2020 boxes)
There were a lot of young QBs getting the ball this week and Hurts was among the flashiest of them. He threw for 264 yards and three TDs in a 32-6 drubbing of the Falcons. Only four guys had more passing TDs (a lot had three) and his 62 rushing yards led all QBs for the week. He's not the super-priciest guys from last year to grab, but he should be getting more attention now.

GOOD WEEK IN A BAD WEEK?
Nick Chubb -- RB, Cleveland Browns (Rookie Cards in 2018 boxes)
This star didn't get to the 100-yard mark (he had only 83 on 15 carries) but he was the only RB to score more than one touchdown this week -- and they both came early in the Browns' narrow loss to the Chiefs. He was just four yards short of 1,000 as a rookie and had 1,494 and 1,067 in 12 games last year -- so he's pretty much a lock for another strong season based on past results. His RCs in 2018 will have a lot more bargain potential vs. Baker Mayfield but he's just as important on that team if you ask me. (Chubb and Mayfield will matter the most on cardboard over all else.)

DO STAT SHEETS LIE?
Trevor Lawrence -- QB, Jacksonville Jaguars (Rookie Cards in 2021 boxes)
His first NFL start led to the first loss of his football career and it wasn't pretty for most of the game. But, on the stat sheet? Well, his 332 passing yards and three TDs check in at the seventh-best yardage game this week and only four QBs had more TDs. It seems most weren't impressed but the stats were there ... the already pricey cards could even see more interest now even though the result was rough. His low-end stuff, preferably in an NFL uni, is where I'd look first -- but don't pass up cheaper serial-numbered cards among the college-uni stuff.
