What's buzz-worthy: This brand showcasing some of the memorable Fleer designs of the past has been reconfigured for a lower price while still offering plenty of the insert cards that collectors have come to expect.

The Basics: Each box will include four Metal Universe cards, four Flair Row cards, three Red Glow parallels from a 100-card base set, four numbered inserts and three cards from a mix of EX-2017, Ultra Scoring Kings, Planet Metal and Hot Gloves. ... Precious Metal Gems will have four shades -- Red (/150), Blue (/50), Green (/10) and Purple (/5). ... Autographs in this one will include Hot Prospects with Red Glow and White Hot parallels as well as Hot Prospects Patches with a White Hot FX parallel. ... The Hot Prospects (singles and quads) will be limited to 399 copies with Red (/25) and White (/5) parallels, whole the Ultra Rookies will be limited to 599 with Platinum (/99) and Ultra Violet (/25) versions. There also will be Premium Prospects (/499) that have Star Rubies (/50) and Sparkling Diamond (/5) versions. ... New this year will be EX-2017, a nod to the EX-2000 cards from 1996-97 Fleer. They will have Now and Future parallels.
