What's buzz-worthy: The sixth edition of Gypsy Queen follows much of the same formula from the past releases with the same number of hits and the same mini box box-topper we have seen from past years. What's new here this time are a few insert sets (MVP Minis, Power Alley), some parallels (MVP Minis autos, Mini Black autos) and a few other fun inclusions. Those will be Laces Around the League Relics -- cards with baseball stitch swatches limited to five copies -- as well as jumbo patch Relic and Ancient Era Remnants -- aka buybacks from the 1920s to 1950s.

The Basics: The basic set will have 300 cards with 50 short-prints. Of those, 100 will have parallels Purple Frame, Green Frame, 1/1 Black Frame and 1/1 printing plates. There will be minis, of course, with Purple, Gold and Red parallels. Topps also said there will be stock variation 1/1 cards, including leather and clear cards, but did not disclose full details there. Mini boxes will have new images for 100 cards in mini form. ... Inserts will include Power Alley, Walk-off Winners and Glove Stories. ... Autographs will have Green, Gold, Red (/5) and Black (1/1) parallels. Mini MVPs and Mini autos will also be round with those being more limited and their Black parallels being 1/1 creations. ... Relics will include Gold, Red and Black Button versions along with Mini Relics with Gold, Red and Black versions there. The and jumbo patch Relics will have 1/1 parallels. ... For Prime Relics also to be found are 1/1 Prime Bat Relics and 1/1 Art Patch Cards that combine memorabilia with sketch cards in addition to the previously mentioned laces cards. ... Auto Relics will include standard cards as well as Red (/5) and 1/1 Black versions. Mini auto patch books also return with a standard and a 1/1 Black parallel.
