What: 2016 Topps The Walking Dead Season 5 trading cards
Arrives: Oct. 5
Box basics: Two hits per 24-pack box (eight boxes per case)
What's buzz-worthy: Topps' debut line for The Walking Dead picks up where Cryptozoic left off with a hobby-only release jam-packed with base cards, parallels, hits and, of course, some gore.
The Basics: The base set here will consist of 100 cards recapping Season 5 all in one set and each card will have five parallels -- Rust (/99), Mud (/50), Mold (/25), Sepia (/10) and 1/1 Blood. ... There will be three types of inserts -- Walkers, Locations and Character Profiles -- totaling 40 cards. ... The hits lineup will include sketch cards, autographs and Relics. ... A preliminary checklist was not released.
