What's buzz-worthy: Leaf brings some memorable designs from the past to the ice with autographs, memorabilia and signed buybacks in the mix in a relatively limited release.

The Basics: There will be only 150 cases of this one made with each case serial-numbered. In the mix here will be 1948 Leaf and 1960 Leaf memorabilia cards with stars from that era, 1990 Leaf autographs and memorabilia, The Distinguished Series (auto and mem sets), The Sensational Swatch, Masked Warriors, Dignified Heir, Leaf Gold All-Stars and 1993-94 Leaf Buybacks. Ink there will include Pavel Bure, Mario Lemieux, Sergei Federov and Brett Hull among others. ... Some of the biggest names in the history of the game will be found as memorabilia cards with George Vezina, Maurice Richard, Gordie Howe, Jean Beliveau, Jaromir Jagr, Steve Yzerman, Dominick Hasek and Stan Mikita among those teased by the company. ... It appears there are several shades of parallels in this one though that breakdown was not provided by the company.

Update (Sept. 18): Leaf has announced some additions to this one with Trinity patch autos of Nico Hischier and Nolan Patrick to be found here as well as two Gold Leaf Legends cards per box. This one also will be a redemption item at the November Toronto Expo.
