What's buzz-worthy: Classics returns with a meaty base set comprised of veterans, rookies and retirees with a new retro look.

The Basics: The base set will consist of 100 veterans, 100 legends and 100 new rookies with the newcomers found one per pack. ... Among the autograph cards to chase here will be Stadium Stars, Significant Signatures, Classic Combos and buyback autos (two per case) from past releases. ... Memorabilia cards will include Canton Collection and Classic Combos, which will have prime parallels limited to no more than 50 copies. ... Among the parallels will be blank backs, no names and cards that show a player's full name as well as Sepia short-prints that will be found one per box. No other details were released. ... These will carry a suggested retail price of $5 per pack or $70 per box.
