What's buzz-worthy: The college gridiron once again gets its own Immaculate Collection release with the stars of the past (and recent past) in this school-focused high-end brand.

The Basics: Each box will include just six cards -- a base card or parallel atop the hits. The base set will consist of just 25 cards each numbered to just 99 copies with Gold (/5) and 1/1 Platinum parallels also in the mix. Autos also will have those parallels. ... There will be Immaculate Ink and standard autos with members of the College and Pro Football Hall of Fames, while rookies will have on-card autos in the rookie patch autos, Immaculate Signature Rookie Patches and Premium Patches Rookie Autographs sets. There also will be a number of high-end patch cards -- bowl conference patches, championship patches, team logo shields, laundry tags, brand logos and more. ... Numbers memorabilia cards will be limited to the player's uniform number, while Trios will group memorabilia from college teammates and Immaculate Ink Combos will group alumni ink together. ... Boxes will carry a suggested retail price of $300, which is actually $100 less than last year.
