What's buzz-worthy: Playoff takes to the gridiron once again with a box that packs two hits every time at a price that even a practice-squader could afford.

The Basics: Each box will include 12 rookies, 20 inserts and four parallels atop the hits and this one will also be the home of Contenders Preview autos (/23) and Optic Preview autos. New for this one will be Air Command memorabilia cards with jerseys and patches for 20 top quarterbacks. ... The base set will consist of 200 cards -- past and present players -- with parallels including Kickoff (/299), First Down, Second Down, Third Down, Fourth Down and Touchdown (1/1). ... On the autograph front, there will be RPS Autos, Game Day Signatures, Touchdown Tandems Signatures, Hall of Fame autos (/25 max) along with the Contenders and Optic previews. ... Boxes carry a suggested retail price of just under $70.
