What's buzz-worthy: Topps unleashes another high-end brand that includes "the best of the past, present and future" with nothing but this and nothing but on-card autographs or cuts that make what Topps calls "the ultimate pack-breaking experience."

The Basics: All cards will be limited to no more than 25 copies with a number of parallels. On the autograph front there will be more than 50 players signing autos (/25 or less) each with Purple (/10), Red (/5) and 1/1 Gold parallels, while there will be red-ink autos (/25 or less) and Diamond autos (/25) with the same rainbows. ... Auto Relics will include Jumbo Patches with MLB-authenticated swatches with the same rainbow, Auto Relics (/10), single-player Dual Auto Relics (/10) and dual-player Dual Auto Relics (/10). These will have Red (/5) and 1/1 Gold parallels. ... On the Relic front there will be single-player cards (/10), dual books (/10), Diamond Relics (yes, real diamonds /3), Primary Piece Cleat Relics (/10) with 1/1 Spike Relic parallels and MLB logo patches that are 1/1 cards. Relics will have Red (/5) and 1/1 Gold parallels. ... The cut auto array will be large -- as many as 100 cards -- with each of them limited to no more than four copies and each with a 1/1 parallel. ... No preliminary checklist was released and, based on factory cost, these boxes definitely will be north of the $1,000 mark.
