First Buzz: 2018 Baseball Treasure baseball coins

What: 2018 Baseball Treasure baseball coins
Arrives: April 18
Box basics: One one-ounce copper coin per pack (36 packs per box, 12 boxes per case)

What's buzz-worthy: A new way to collect baseball players arrives next month with the possibility for precious metal coins in packs, too.

The Basics: One star from each team will be minted and presented on a cardboard mount with the heads side having a portrait with name and position, while the tails will note a highlight from last season and carry an action pose. One per case (one in 432 packs) will be one-ounce silver coins, while one in every 21,600 packs will include a specially marked coin redeemable for a one-ounce gold coin of Aaron Judge commemorating his rookie record of 52 home runs last season. These packs and the backers will be traditional card size with a suggested retail price of $6.99.
