What's buzz-worthy: Topps brings the Bowman brand to the Tek world for a sophomore season with new looks at familiar Bowman cards and new chances at landing the hobby's biggest rookie this year, Shohei Ohtani.

The Basics: There will one parallel and four autos per box with a number of patterns to be found in this one with each case including a Tides of Youth autograph variation as well as an extra autographed insert. ... As usual for Tek brands, there will be a number of patterns to chase for every card. For Pattern One alone there will be a Purple Rainbow (/150), Green Rainbow (/99), Ocean Blue Tidal (/75), Gold Rainbow (/50), Orange Magma Diffractor (/25), Red Orbit Diffractor (/10), Black Galactic Diffractor (1/1) and printing proofs in the rainbow. No parallels have been teased for other patterns over than there being 1/1s for two of them, a SpecTEKular Diffractor and a Black Galactic Diffractor. ... Insert cards will all be numbered to no more than 99 copies with a a set called Tides of Youth with Ocean Blue (/25) and 1/1 Black parallels, PyroTEKnics with the same versions and First Bowman Tek cards that spotlight players' first cards from 2018 Bowman in a Teky way also with those parallels. ... Those three insert sets will have autographs while standard auto cards will have eight versions to chase -- Purple Diffractor (/TBD), Green Rainbow (/99), Ocean Blue Tidal (/75), Gold Rainbow (/50), Orange Magma Diffractor (/25), Red Orbit Diffractor (/10), Black Galactic Diffractor (1/1) and 1/1 Printing Proofs.
