What's buzz-worthy: Elite once again arrives with a heavy emphasis on future stars and the hits -- with case cards that are limited to no more than 999 copies with 10 parallels apiece just like last year.

The Basics: The autograph lineup here will include standard ink for top new draft picks and prospects with 14 parallels -- all limited to no more than 100 copies. They'll include Emerald (/25), Tie-dye (/10) and 1/1 printing plates among them. Aspirations will ave Purple (/100), Blue (/50), Tie-dye (/5) and 1/1 Gold cards, while Status die-cuts will have Red (/75), Emerald (/25), Tie-dye (/5) and 1/1 Gold atop the standard versions. ... Base cards will also have Aspirations and Status cards. The Aspirations will have Red (/150), Orange (/100), Blue (/75), Tie-dye (/25) and 1/1 Gold cards, while Status will have Red (/99), Emerald (/49), Tie-dye (/25) and 1/1 Gold cards. ... Other hits here will include Triple Material cards with seven parallels (four of those prime), Contenders College Ticket Signatures (/99) and Future Threads Silhouettes (/299). The Triple Material cards include base (/399), Silver (/149), Gold (/99), Red (/49), Purple (/25), Emerald (/10), Blue (/5) and 1/1 Holo Silver. ... The College Tickets will have Holo (/25), Gold (/10) and 1/1 Gold Vinyl versions. ... The Silhouettes will include Gold , Red, Purple, Emerald, Blue and Holo Silver versions at the same volumes. ... There will be seven different card stock styles used in this one for the variety of parallels with Panini-exclusive Dominican Prospect League players in the base set as well as on autographs and Future Threads Silhouette Autos. Meanwhile, a new inclusion this year are Dual Silhouettes cards which will have two jumbo swatches for one player. ... USA Baseball also gets a nod here with this year's USA Baseball Collegiate National Team on USA Collegiate Tickets and USA Collegiate Silhouette Autographs. This year's 18U and 15U USA National Teams get the nod in National Team Signatures. ... Five-card packs will once again carry a suggested retail price of $20 ($100 per box).
