What's buzz-worthy: Panini once again will test the waters of several familiar brands in its portfolio for the baseball diamond while also updating some releases all in one spot.

The Basics: There will be inserts and parallels from at least 15 different brands in this one -- Chronicles, Cornerstones, Score, Select, Phoenix, Prizm, Crusade, Contenders Optic, Spectra, Illusions, Status, Studio, Prestige, Rookies and Stars, Limited and Classics. The Spectra rookie jersey autos and Rookie Cornerstones cards (with four parallels per) will carry on-card signatures and among Spectra's signers will be Shohei Ohtani, Miguel Andujar, Rafael Devers, Rhys Hoskins and Amed Rosario to name a few. ... Other ink will include Rookie Reserve Signatures, Contenders Season Tickets, Panini Signatures, Prestige, Select Signatures, Prizm Signatures and Illusions. The basic card tally for a number of rookies will be at least 15 cards here. ... The six-pack boxes will include four hits as well as two Spectra based cards and packs will have three different types of card stock inside. ... Prizm autos will have Gold and Gold Vinyl parallels, while Select's set in this one will have nine parallels. ... Phoenix will make its debut for baseball here with nine parallels per card, while Contenders will have Cracked Ice, Playoff Championship and printing plate tickets. ... Boxes will carry a suggested retail price of $96 ($16 per pack).
