What's buzz-worthy: Contenders hits the diamond with new draft picks, current prospects and memorable past stars all in their school colors.

The Basics: These 18-card packs will include a mix of inserts and parallels with some of the first autographs from top prep and college stars in this year's draft. A typical box will include the six autos, one parallel card and a total of 100 Season Ticket base cards (only a 25-card set), variations and inserts. Draft Tickets and International Tickets will spotlight new stars with the players in the first three rounds of the draft having on-card autos. Prospect Ticket autos will be limited to 99 followed by Cracked Ice (/23), Playoff (/15) and 1/1 Championship Tickets. ... Other autos will include Prospect Tickets, International Ticket, Old School Colors and Collegiate Connections. One notable newcomer will include Juan Pablo Martinez who signed with the Texas Rangers. ... These will once again carry a suggested retail price of $20 per pack ($120 per box).
