The Basics: Gem base cards get a new look this year with standard cards limited to 20, with Pink dual diamonds (/3) and 1/1 Black parallels while there will be all-stars, rookies, variations, milestones and nicknames versions. ... In the mix for memorabilia this year? Cleat spikes (/18) and 1/1 bat knobs and bat barrels. Meanwhile, autographs will be on-card for the rookies with all cards limited to no more than 25 copies. ... Yankees Hall of Famers will also have a place here with Legends Gems cards (/20) that will be found for Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio while there will be jumbo memorabilia cards for the likes of Babe Ruth, Mel Ott and Jackie Robinson. ... For rookie patch autos there will be base cards (/25) as well as Ruby (/20), Sapphire (/15), Gold (/10), Emerald (/5) and 1/1 Black versions. Great dual memorabilia autos will carry the same parallels and the same will apply for the rookie dual patch autos. ... Cut autos will include Ruth, Roberto Clemente and Ty Cobb among others with all cuts limited to no more than 10 copies. ... These will carry a suggested retail price of $1,250 per box.
