What's buzz-worthy: Once again Panini America's lustrous line hits the gridiron with at least one rookie jersey auto per box and plenty more creations that are simply golden.

The Basics: Rookie jersey autos will be limited to no more than 99 serial-numbered copies and they will have patch, tag and ink variations. Among those will be blue-ink (/99), gold-ink patches (/25) and white-ink tags that will be 1/1s. There also will be doubles and triples (/75 max) with gold (/25) and 1/1 white versions like the standards. ... Unsigned Rookie Cards will be found for 60 rookies not on rookie patch autos with those cards limited to 99 copies with Platinum (/49), Rose Gold (/25) and 1/1 Black versions. ... Also in the mix are Super Bowl Diamond Signatures with autographs and real diamonds as part of the card (/5) as well as Gold Strike (/99) and Gold Scripts (/24) autos. Strikes will include Platinum (/49 max) and 1/1 Black versions, while Scripts will include Platinums limited to 14 and a 1/1 Black. ... On the memorabilia side there will be Golden Shield Signatures (1/1s with the NFL logo from a ball), Mother Lode mem cards with five swatches (/125) with Prime (/49) and 1/1 Premium cards and Gold Gear Prime cards (/125) with prime (/49) and 1/1 Premium versions. ... Other 1/1 inserts will include Bullion Brand Tags, Super Bowl Diamond Signatures Dual and Bullion Brand Tags Signatures and Golden Shield Signatures. ...
