What's buzz-worthy: Prizm is back for NFL fans with a meaty 200-card base set and 100 Rookie Cards atop that each with colorful parallels collectors have come to expect from the brand.

The Basics: There will once again be nine serial-numbered Prizm inserts per box along with 24 Rookie Cards, four inserts and one basic rookie or Prizm parallel per box. ... A hobby-only inclusion this year will be rookie patch auto Prizms with Purple Power (/50 max) parallels as well as Gold (/10) and 1/1 Black Finite cards. These combine to fall one per case. ... New this season will be new Trifecta, the 2018 Hall of Fame Tribute, Grit and Apex inserts as well as Rookie Introductions, Instant Impact, Hype, and Illumination cards. ... Parallels of the base set and rookies will include Prizm, Hyper (/275), Orange (/249), Light Blue (/199), Red Wave (/149), Blue Scope (/99), Green Crystals (/75), Purple Power (/49), Camo (/25), Gold (/10), Gold Vinyl (/5) and 1/1 Black Finite. There also will be diecut parallels with Light Blue and Orange cards only found in hobby packs. ... Other inserts will include Stained Glass wth Gold Mojo (/10) and 1/1 Black Finite versions, which will also be the case for Hype and likely other inserts. ... The Rookie Patch Autos will be limited to 99 copies or less, while standard rookie autos will have Red Wave (/199), Blue Scope (/99), Green Crystals (/75), Purple Power (/49), Camo (/25), Gold (/10), Gold Vinyl (/5) and 1/1 Black Finite versions. ... Boxes will once again carry a suggested retail price of $120 ($10 per pack).

Update (retail details): On the retail side, there will be pink Prizms, rookie autos and jersey cards in retail boxes, while the multi-pack format will include Red White & Blue Prizms and autos. There will be Disco Prizms and autos in Target boxes, while retail blasters will include Lazer Prizms and autos. Target gravity boxes will have Red and Blue Prizms as well as Green rookie Prizm autos and retail Mega Boxes will include Neon Green Prizms and autos.
