What's buzz-worthy: Prizm takes to the pitch for the World Cup with some of the biggest names in the game today and all of the color one would expect.

The Basics: The base set will consist of 300 cards with players from all 32 teams in the event with a huge parallel rainbow that includes Silver, Hyper, Green & White Wave, Purple & Gold Wave, Blue (/199), Red (/149), Purple (/99), Orange (/65), Green Crystals (/25), Camo (/20), Gold (/10), Gold Power (/5) and 1/1 Black. There also will be Cyrillic variations where the player's name gets a host-country nod. ... Insert sets will include New Era, National Landmarks and Scorers Club with the Landmarks cards found just one time per case. ... Each box will include 16 Prizm cards (three under 199 copies), seven more inserts and then the autograph or rare insert.  ... Autographs will be found Road To Russia cards -- a short-printed set spotlighting just seven notable players -- along with single, dual, triple and quad autos that will have parallels. Among the big signers teased here include Paulo Dybala, Philippe Coutinho, Kevin De Bruyne, Wayne Rooney, Manuel Neuer, Robert Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo. ... Another chase element here? Hot Boxes that will be loaded with Lazer Prizm parallel cards. ... Packs carry a suggested retail price of $5 ($120 per box).

Update (April 19): Autographs will be found seven times per case here, and, according to Panini, there will be debut autographs for nine players -- Shinji Kagawa (Japan, Borussia Dortmund), Philippe Coutinho (Brazil, FC Barcelona), Yann Sommer (Switzerland, Gladbach), Matthew Leckie (Australia, Hertha Berlin) and Luis Hernandez (Mexico, UANL Tigres) will be among them. Atop those, there will be autos from Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr., Lionel Messi, Paulo Dybala, Diego Maradona, Pele and Thierry Henry among others. Boxes without ink will be Lazer Prizm Hot Boxes or contain a short-printed insert and a Prizm numbered to 25 or less. Cases should deliver at least three Prizms numbered to 25 or less with Gold Power Prizms (/5) and 1/1 Black cards possible.
