What's buzz-worthy: Finest is back as a hobby release once again with a number of inclusions that add to its chromed legacy of autographs and inserts.

The Basics: Sitting Red inserts will spotlight MLB's big sluggers, while a 10-card Finest Careers Diecut set will spotlight Cal Ripken Jr. with autos possible and the basic cards just two per case. ... The basic set size was not revealed but it will have a number of parallels that will include Purple and Blue cards among its rainbow (details were not released). Finest Cornerstones will use the 1994-95 Cornerstones NBA design with a current MLB star -- and these along with Sitting Red will have autograph parallels. ... New for the autographs for 2018 will be Orange Wave Refractor autos (/25) along with other parallels (not disclosed), while Finest Firsts (rookies) and Finest Hour (key moments) autos will also be in play. ... The Finest Careers cards will have Gold (/50) and 1/1 Superfractors also in the mix. Rounding things out will be Finest Originals autographed buybacks from past Finest releases.
