What's buzz-worthy: Triple Threads returns for another season of high-end hits with stars from the past and present all presenting themselves in a format that collectors have ripped year after year since 2006.

The Basics: Each box will include one autographed Triple Relic (/99 or less), one Triple Relic Card (/36 or less), one autographed rookie or auto jumbo Relic (/99 or less) and jumbo Relic (/36 or less) using the familiar two-pack format of past years. ... As with past years, each case will guarantee a 1/1 auto Relic and a triple-auto Relic card, and overall, the formula here appears very similar to past years. The 100-card base set will include a rainbow of eight parallels -- Amethyst (/TBD), Emerald (/259), Amber (/199), Gold (/99), Onyx (/50), Sapphire (/25) and 1/1 Ruby as well as printing plates. ... Autographed rookie Relics will be signed on-card (/99) with Silver (/75), Emerald (/50), Onyx (/35) and 1/1 Wood, Ruby and printing plates. Standard rookie autos will have base (/TBD), Emerald (/50), Gold (/25), Sapphire (/10) and 1/1 Ruby versions as well as printing plates.

Auto Relics will be limited to 18 copies for the standard cards and then Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby, 1/1 Wood and plates. ... Auto Relic Combos will have three players' autos and Relics and be limited to 36, 27 (Silver), 18 (Emerald), nine (Gold) and three (Sapphire) with the same 1/1 options as other auto Relics. ... For Auto Relics, there also will be Jumbo Plus books that have one jumbo patch and two patch pieces along with an auto, Letter Plus (same but with a letter), Cut Above and Dual Cut Above cards. The Plus cards will be limited to three with 1/1 Ruby parallels, while Cuts will be 1/1s. ... There will be auto Deca Relic books once again with one player getting 10 swatches and ink on cards limited to 10 copies. These will have Gold (/5) and 1/1 Ruby parallels. The same will apply with the 10-player cards. New this yer will be Windows into Greatness Auto Relic Books tie one player on a three-panel card with base versions limited to five and then Gold (/3) and 1/1 Ruby versions.

For Relics there will be Triple Threads Relics and Legends starting at 36 copies per card with a new inclusion this year being Players Weekend Relics. Both of these will have Silver (/27), Emerald (/18), Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby versions. Relic Combo cars will ave the same parallels. Also in play will be All-Star Patches (/9) with 1/1 Ruby versions as well as Triple Threads Legends that will have the same parallels as the standard Relics. There will be a number of 1/1 Relic options -- Jumbo letter/number/logo books, All-Star Patch books, Jumbo Sleeve Team Patch books, Laundry Tag books, Majestic logo books, bat nameplate books, bat knob books and jumbo patch combo books -- while there also will be Jumbo Plus books (/3) with 1/1 Ruby versions as well as Letter Plus books with the same. There also will be Deca Relic combo books (/10) with Gold (/5) and 1/1 Ruby versions as well as Windows into Greatness with the same parallels.

Last but not least, there will be Jumbo Relics (/36) with Silver (/27), Emerald (/18), Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby versions as well as an entire rainbow of autographed versions (/99) with Silver (/75), Emerald (/50), Gold (/25), Sapphire (/10) and 1/1 Ruby.
