What's buzz-worthy: Platinum is back with the familiar format used in recent years -- a mega box as well as blasters are among the options once again.

The Basics: Each pack will include three base cards and two Top Prospects cards for this retail-only release. The base set will consist of 100 cards with a selection of 10 photo variations and also four short-printed Rookie Cards atop those -- Pete Alonso, Fernando Tatis Jr. Eloy Jimenez and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Vladdy also leads off the prospects set -- 100 cards there -- as well. ... Inserts will include Prismatic Prodigies, Renowned Rookies, Platinum Presence, Prolific Power and Gallery Preview cards. ... Autographs will be found for each of those sets as well as Top Prospects, Refined, Platinum Cut and auto-Relic sets -- Platinum Pieces and Platinum Patches. There also will be Relic inserts, Platinum Patches.
