What's buzz-worthy: Donruss takes the field once again with plenty of the cards you'd expect to see but also some re-visiting of past creations from the entire Donruss portfolio all in one place.

The Basics: Hobby boxes will include 12 Rookie Cards, six Rated Rookies, 12 parallels and 42 inserts atop of the base cards and hits. The base set will include 350 cards -- 250 veterans, 50 rookies and 50 Rated Rookies. New this year will be photo variations and Rated Rookie Canvas parallels with both falling one per box. ... Among the inserts will be Downtown!, Rated Rookies Premium, Team Supreme, Nicknames, Action All-Pros and Power Formulas. ... Among the base card parallels will be jersey number parallels for Rated Rookies as well as Aqueous Test versions. ... On the autograph front, there will be Retro 1999 cards limited to only 25 copies and only in hobby packs as well as signed Action All-Stars and Power Formulas ink also both limited to 25. Joining them will be The Champ Is Here (/49) and Canton Kings, Jersey Kings, Leather Kings and All-Pro Kings. ... Packs will carry a suggested retail price of $4 ($72 per box). Note: Rated Rookies shown here are just mocks using last year's rookies.
