What's buzz-worthy: Historic Autographs looks back a half-century to a year that generated plenty of headlines in history whether it was in the news, pop culture, the sports world or beyond.

The Basics: Just 250 24-box cases are being made for this one with 100 basic cards limited to 99. Parallels will include Tie-dye (/69), Lunar (/10) and Red (/5). ... There also will be a bounty program for those who take on the challenge of chasing some of the parallel sets -- see the gallery. ... The cut auto set here is loaded (sampling list below) and there will be cuts found one in every three boxes. Meanwhile, proof 1969 coins (five types) and 1969 stamps (three types) will be among the relics at that same rate along with Vietnam War military uniform cards. Coin and stamp cards will parallel all 100 cards in the base set. ... Also in there will be vintage car key cards (two per five boxes), William Shatner clothing (one in four) and autograph cards (one in 150) and more. ... Red parallel base cards (/5) are one in 12 boxes, while Lunar cards (/10) are one in six. ... There also will be one 1969 vintage baseball card per box with at least three complete Topps sets used as part of the overall product. ...
