What's buzz-worthy: Historic Autographs takes a second look back at seven great teams in New York City MLB history and this one will include "an overload of Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio autographs -- some of the best rate of pull ever for these baseball stalwarts" according to the company.

The Basics: There will be just 100 hand-numbered cases made for this release with the seven past teams including the 1949, 1953 and 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers as well as the 1950, 1952 and 1956 New York Yankees and lastly the 1951 New York Giants. Between 1949 and 1956, 14 of 16 teams in the World Series were from New York and the winner was from New York every year -- and those teams are the focus in both series of this line. ... According to the company, every player in every year has no less than five autographs in this one -- just like last time. That means 15 Jackie Robinson and 15 Roy Campanella autos this time -- 50 percent more autos for them than the first series -- as well as 22 Mickey Mantle, 11 Joe DiMaggio, 13 Casey Stengel, 12 Willie Mays and 14 Gil Hodges autos. Historic also guarantees one of those players per case. ... Meanwhile, more than 40 percent of boxes will include Hall of Famers, while tougher autos like Elston Howard, Carl Furillo, Jim Gilliam and Billy Martin also will be found. Other autos of tougher status will include Don Hoak, Don Bessent, Billy Cox, Joe Page and Hank Thompson.
