What's buzz-worthy: Historic Autographs once again takes us back to the 1930s -- this time 1934 in particular -- with buyback cards and cut autographs paired together in a very limited product.

The Basics: There will be just 72 hand-numbered cases made for this one and there are at least three complete sets to be had though the entire product. Lou Gehrig, for example, will be found one in every 120 boxes, while Group A Hall of Famers are one in 10. Group B players will be one in every five boxes, while short-prints will be one in eight. All cards will have a serial-number its slab and no player will have more than 30 cards in the release.

Update: Historic has announced that it is adding two 1/1 Federal League preview cards per case. These will be art preview cards -- hand-enhanced cards for 16 subjects in a few styles. There will be 10 different backgrounds and each player will have a portrait and action version. A breakdown and teaser gallery is below. A 66-card Federal League release will arrive at a later time with the chase including graded original 1914 or 1915 Cracker Jack cards of Federal Leaguers, cut autographs of those players or Retro Rookie autographs that include Babe Ruth, Rogers Hornsby, Harry Heilmann, Dazzy Vance, George Sisler and Red Faber.
