What's buzz-worthy: Onyx and Futera team up for a high-end look at baseball prospects as well as big names from the past and present in a limited release that will include just 75 cases made.

The Basics: Every pack includes one on-card auto or auto-mem card or a 24k gold-plated framed card along with as many as five base cards. Among the ink will be 1/1 autos, 1/1  auto-mem and 1/1 cut autos. There also will be gold- and silver-foiled Heritage base parallels cards found one per display box. ... Each four-box mini-case will include at least two framed inserts from Memostars combos (/9), Mythicals or Phenoms autos (both /9) or 1/1 auto or auto-mem cards. There will be at least 12 on-card autographs. ... The base set will include 40 cards -- a mix of prospects, new draft picks, veterans and retired greats. ... The Gold Heritage (/9) and Silver Heritage (/17) cards combine to be found one in four packs (one per box). These cards are "a vintage translation of the base set players created in sepia tones" using a thicker stock. ... Autographed, auto-mem and framed auto cards will be found on premium stock averaging 100-point thickness in a number of sets with the date and place for the player's signing noted on the card. A code on the card will allow collectors to view info on the Futera website about that signing and could have more photos and videos. They are all noted below in a checklist that could change before arrival but has plenty to chew on between now and then. Below that is a gallery of everything above.
