First Buzz: 2019 Panini Contenders Draft Picks basketball

What's buzz-worthy: The newest crop of young stars from the college hardwood -- as well as some legends of the past -- hit cardboard in a product that once again includes an autograph in every pack.

The Basics: This fifth release of college Contenders will include one parallel, 35 Season Ticket base cards, 35 Season Ticket variations and 30 inserts per box just like last year along with the six autos. Packs once again will be 18 cards and the set will be 50 cards. International and College Ticket autos will have a parallel rainbow that includes Draft Tickets (/99), Playoff Tickets (/15), Championship Tickets (/1), Cracked Ice Tickets (/23) and printing plates just like last year. Other autos in this one will include Turning Pro Signatures and Season Ticket Signatures for 10 last greats, while Game Day Ticket Signatures (/99) will have Cracked Ice (/23), Playoff (/18), Diamond (/10), Building Blocks (/5) and 1/1 Fame parallels as well as plates. ... Packs carry a suggested retail price of $22 ($132 per box).
