What's buzz-worthy: Diamond Kings is back for another season with stars of the past and present included as well as nods to the rich past of DK baseball cards and a glance at what might have been if they were around long ago.

The Basics: Typical boxes will include three framed parallels, one Artist Proof and 12 insert cards while guaranteeing an autograph this year. Among the inclusions here are "the first autographed memorabilia cards of the 2019 rookie class" in DK Material Signatures as well as DK 205 cards that are a take on the T205s of the past. Another retro set? A 1919 Diamond Kings creation. ... DK Materials, Retro DK Materials, Jersey Kings, Bat Kings and Diamond Cuts will be among the hits here with Materials cards having two swatches and an auto on every card with a lineup of past and present players. Meanwhile, DK Signatures will roll with ink only but have four parallels all limited to no more than 99 copies per card. ... Among inserts will be The 300 which will celebrated 10 pitching greats who won 300 games as well as DK Flashbacks with players' early seasons seen on a familiar design. ... Packs once again will carry a suggested retail price of $6 ($72 per box).
