What's buzz-worthy: Leather & Lumber returns to the diamond for the first time since 2005 as a standalone brand and includes two hits per pack this time around.

The Basics: Autographs in this one will include Rookie Leather Signatures, Rookie Baseball Signatures and Rookie Lumber Signatures for starters and the same will be found for veterans. Joining those will be Material Cut Signatures that add a piece of memorabilia into the mix as well as Hitter Inc. cards that have auto-mem combos. Those will have bat, gold bat (/99), jersey (/25), holo jersey (/10) and 1/1 platinum blue jerseys. ... Legendary Lumber cards will showcase notables from the past such as Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio and Jimmie Foxx, while Rivals Materials will pair opposing stars with Gold (/99), holo silver (/25), holo gold (/10) and 1/1 platinum blue versions. Other memorabilia cards will include Leather & Lumber Duals, Sweet Feet and Flashing The Leather. ... Also in the mix will be diecut base cards with glove and bat designs as well as inserts that will include Naturals, Benchmarks and Knot Hole Gang. ... Boxes will include two numbered parallel cards, 15 base cards and 15 inserts atop of the eight hits. ... Packs carry a suggested retail price of $50 apiece ($200 per box).
