What's buzz-worthy: Topps Chrome and its jumbo boxes return once again with a rainbow of on-card rookie autographs and plenty more inside both formats.

The Basics: The rookie auto rainbow will include a number of Refractors -- standard (/499), Purple (/250), Blue (/150), Blue Wave (/150), Gold (/50), Gold Wave (/50; hobby-only), Orange (/25), Orange Wave (/25; hobby-only), Red (/5), Red Wave (/5; hobby-only) and 1/1 Superfractors and printing plates. There also will be duals (/25) with Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors. ... The base set Refractors will include standard, Prism, Negative, Purple (/299), Blue (/150), Green (/99), Green Wave (/99), Blue Wave (/75), Gold (/50), Gold Wave (/50), Orange (/25), Orange Wave (/25), Red (/5), Red Wave (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors and printing plates. There also will be photo variations for some cards in the base set. ... Inserts will include a Chromed take on 1984 Topps, Freshman Flash, Future Stars and Greatness Returns. Each of these will have parallel rainbows that include Green, Gold, Orange, Red and Supers.

There also will be autographs for Future Stars (/99), 1999 Topps (/TBD), Freshman Flash (/99) and 1984 Topps (/TBD). Thee will have Orange (/25), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors and printing plates. Rounding things out will be a new inclusion -- Debut Gear Relics -- found one per case with Green (/99), Orange (/25), Red (/5), autographs (/TBD), as well as 1/1 Superfractors and printing plates.

Update (retail details): Blaster boxes will include four Sepia Refractors, while value packs will include Pink parallels. Greatness Returns inserts will have Green Refractors only in retail packs. Green Chrome rookie autos also will be retail-only cards (/99). ... Blaster boxes will include eight four-card packs and have 16 boxes per case. Value packs will include three four-card packs and one three-card Pink pack. There will be 108 packs per case.
