What's buzz-worthy: Finest returns for another season on the diamond with an auto in every mini box and plenty of stars and inserts -- a lineup that will include a tribute to new Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera for starters.

The Basics: The basic set size was not revealed, but it will have a number of Refractor parallels that will include Purple (/250), Blue (/150), Green (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors. There also will be an extended base set of 25 short-prints for MLB veterans not in the basic set with Gold, Red and Supers their only parallels. ... There will be four insert sets with two of them new to the line this year, Blue Chips and Prized Performers. Joining them will be Finest Careers diecuts (Mariano Rivera -- two per case) and Finest Firsts (rookies). Each of these will have Gold (/50), Red (5) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels.

The autograph lineup will include Finest Autos and Finest Firsts for starters. These sets will have Blue (/150), Green (/99), Green Wave (/99), Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Orange Wave (/25), Red (/5), Red Wave (/5) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels. Joining them will be six other autograph sets, including Origins one per case with Gold, Orange, Red and Supers. There also will be Finest Blue Chips autos minus the Gold cards as well as Prized Performers with the same versions. Rounding things out will be Finest Careers autos (/10), Finest Originals buybacks and Finest Mystery Redemption autos.
