What's buzz-worthy: Gypsy queen will return for another season with a colorful retro look, some surprising and soxy Relics and some new inclusions and "unannounced hidden gems."

The Basics: The base set will once again be 300 cards -- a mix of past and present players with missing nameplate, Indigo (/250) Black & White (/50; hobby-only), Red (/10) and 1/1 Black parallels. Inserts will include Jackie Robinson Day image variations with Black (1/1) parallels as well as short-printed base cards solely for retired and all-time greats also with Black 1/1 versions. There will be Fortune Tellers Minis that will predict things for the 2019 season. Those will have Indigo (/250), Green (/99) and 1/1 Black versions. New for this one? Players Weekend variations with 1/1 Black parallels. Also back will be Tarot of the Diamond with Indigo and Black versions. ... Autographs will indue standard versions as well as Indigo (/150), Black & White (/50; hobby-only) and 1/1 Black versions while Mini Rookie Autos will be limited to just 99 copies with Black & White (/50) and 1/1 Black parallels. Also in the lineup? Fortune Teller Mini Autos and Jackie Robinson Day Image Variation Autos. Each will have 1/1 Black versions, while the Robinson Black & White versions will be limited to 42 copies apiece. ... There will be autographed Relics here, too, with Autograph Garments (/50) with jersey or bat pieces and 1/1 Black parallels along with autographed patch books (/20), Pull-up Sock Auto Relics (/10) and Bases Around the League Auto Relics (/20). The books and socks will have 1/1 parallels. ... Also in the mix will Power Performers Portrait Art Patch sketch cards and a new type of box-toppers for this new season. They'll be Chrome cards "showcasing design work of the Gypsy Queen era" -- three cards per pack with five parallels -- Indigo (/150), Gold (/50), Red (/5), Superfractor (1/1) and autographs (/25).

Update (retail details): There will be five Green parallels per blaster box bonus pack for this one and they'll also be found in other retail packs. Also retail-only will be Green Tarot of the Diamond cards (/99) found in all three formats -- 24-pack display boxes, blasters and value packs, which will have three packs and a three-card Green pack.
