What's buzz-worthy: All those big moves and big rookies of the season so far will be found in the second installment of 1970 Topps to come this year -- Bryce Harper, Manny Machado and Yusei Kikuchi for starters.

The Basics: The basic set will once again consist of 200 cards with 25 short-prints atop that. Parallels once again will include Black parallels (announced /50), flip-stock cards (announced /5), Chromes for 50 cards (/999) with Refractors (/570) -- and Black (/70), Gold (/5), 1/1 Superfractors and Hot Box Refractors. There also will be Minis (/100), and new silver metal variations (/70). There also, of course, will be nickname, throwback uniform, action image and team name color variations. The last two will be hobby-only finds.

Real One Autographs return with on-card ink and Red (/70 max) parallels -- and Kikuchi teased among them -- along with duals (/TBD). New for this one will be The Hammer's Greatest Hits autos (/5) for Hank Aaron only found in hobby boxes. On the auto-Relic front, there will be Clubhouse Collection Auto Relics (/25) with 1/1 Patch parallels along with duals (/10 max) with a 1/1 Patch versions. There also will be baseball and celeb cut autograph sets. For standard Relics, there are Clubhouse Collection cards with Gold (/99) and 1/1 Patch parallels just like in the first series and there also will be dual (/70), triple (/25) and quad (/10) cards all also with 1/1 Patch versions.

The standard insert lineup should be familiar compared to previous years with Rookie Performers, Now and Then, Combo Cards, Award Winners, The Hammer's Greatest Hits (hobby-only) and 1970 Topps Scratch-offs. Finishing things off here will be three types of box-toppers -- Supers, Posters (/70) and stamped buybacks.
