What's buzz-worthy: Triple Threads returns for another season of high-end hits with stars from the past and present all presenting themselves in a format that collectors have ripped year after year since 2006.

The Basics: Each box will include one autographed Triple Relic (/99 or less), one Triple Relic Card (/36 or less), one autographed rookie or auto jumbo Relic (/99 or less) and jumbo Relic (/36 or less) using the familiar two-pack format of past years. ... As with past years, each case will guarantee a 1/1 auto Relic and a triple-auto Relic card, and overall, the formula here appears very similar to past years. The 100-card base set will include a rainbow of nine parallels -- Amethyst (/299), Emerald (/259), Amber (/199), Gold (/99), Citrine (/75, new), Onyx (/50), Sapphire (/25) and 1/1 Ruby as well as printing plates. ... Autographed Rookie and Future Phenom Relics will be signed on-card (/99) with Amethyst (/75), Emerald (/50), Onyx (/35) and 1/1 Wood, Ruby and printing plates. Standard rookie autos will have base (/TBD), Emerald (/50), Gold (/25), Sapphire (/10) and 1/1 Ruby versions as well as printing plates just like last year.

On the Auto-Relic front, there will be Auto Relic Combos with three players with Amethyst (/27), Emerald (/18), Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby as well as printing plates. Standard Auto Relics will be limited to 18 copies with Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby, 1/1 Wood and plates. There also will be Jumbo Plus books that have one jumbo patch and two patch pieces along with an auto (/3) wth 1/1 Ruby parallels as well as Letter Plus (same but with a letter). Joining them will be 1/1 Cut Above and Dual Cut Above cards along with auto Deca Relic books once again with one player getting 10 swatches and ink on cards limited to 10 copies. These will have Gold (/5) and 1/1 Ruby parallels just like last year. The same will apply with the 10-player cards. Windows into Greatness Auto Relic Books also will be back with one player on a three-panel card with base versions limited to five and then Gold (/3) and 1/1 Ruby versions. New this year will be 150 Years of Baseball triple-Relic autos (/9) with Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby parallels as well as Triple Threads Pieces of the Game auto Relics with three different Relic types per card along with ink (/18) with Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby versions.

For Relics, there will be Triple Threads Relics and Legends cards starting at 36 copies per card. New will be Pieces Of The Game Relics that will start at 18 copies while All-Star Patches return (/9) with a 1/1 Ruby version. The standard Relics will have Amethyst (/27) Emerald (/18), Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby parallels as well the Legends and Relic Combos. ... As with past years, there will be eight 1/1 Relic options -- three types of All-Star Game patches, laundry tags, bat nameplate books, bat knobs, jumbo patch combos and letter/number/logo books. There also will be jumbo plus books (/3) with 1/1 Ruby versions as well as letter plus with the same volume. New 150 Years three-player cards will be limited to nine with Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby versions. There also will be Windows Into Greatness Books (/10) with Gold (/5) and 1/1 Ruby versions as well as Deca Relic combo books (/10) with the same parallels. ... Last but not least, there will be Jumbo Relics (/36) with Amethyst (/27), Emerald (/18), Gold (/9), Sapphire (/3) and 1/1 Ruby versions as well as an entire rainbow of autographed versions (/99) with Amethyst (/75), Emerald (/50), Gold (/25), Sapphire (/10) and 1/1 Ruby just like last year.
