First Buzz: 2020-21 Donruss NBA + Donruss Choice details

What: 2020-21 Donruss basketball cards

What's buzz-worthy: Donruss takes to the hardwood with a familiar approach for the brand but with a new crop of Rookie Cards (last-year's players used in mocks), new Net Marvels and more.

The Basics: Packs will contain 30 cards this time around and boxes will include a total of 60 inserts and parallel cards just like last year. The base set size was not announced and the parallel lineup was not detailed in full, either, but there will be Red and Gold Laser parallels for starters and 1/1 Black Lasers. Rated Rookies Signatures will be found with Black Laser, Blue Laser and Gold Laser parallels (all hobby-only and, again, last year's players are shown on the mocks here). ... Among inserts will be Crunch Time, Net Marvels, The Rookies, Craftsmen, Zero Gravity and Retro Series. ... Note: Rookie Cards shown here are for design use last year's rookies.

Update: This one also will have single-pack Donruss Choice boxes (10 cards per pack, 20 boxes per case) with two autographs, five Choice Rated Rookies and three parallel cards per box -- that's it. Choice cards will have their own textures with Black Gold, Black and Gold Rated Rookie autos for starters. Among autos here will be Choice Signatures, Hall Dominators and Dominators -- all only found here and they also will have parallels. Regular card parallels were not detailed but you can see a sampling in the second row of the gallery below.
