What's buzz-worthy: Optic hits the hardwood once again with the same hit volume but some new inclusions and plenty of the familiar for a new class of rookies (mocks using last year's guys here) and with plenty of ink and parallels among the possibilities.

The Basics: There will be 20 insert or parallel cards per box atop of the auto and the base in this one just like last year. Rated Rookie autographs will be signed on-card and there will be a number of parallels to look for with hobby-only finds will include Holo, Blue (/49), Gold (/10), Green (/5) and 1/1 Gold Vinyl. ... The base set's parallels will include Holo, Orange, Lime Green, Red, Pink Velocity (/79), Blue, Black Velocity (/39), Gold (/10), Green (/5), 1/1 Gold Vinyl an a new rare hobby-only Photon parallel. ... Among the inserts here will be The Rookies, Lights Out, Elite Dominators, All-Stars, Lights Out, Star Gazing and Rainmakers with each having a number of parallels, including Holo, Red, Blue, Gold, Green and Gold Vinyl. ... Boxes will carry an increased suggested retail price of $250 ($12.50 per four-card pack).

Update: There will be Fast Break boxes for this one that include one autograph and 18 inserts or parallels per 18-pack box (20 boxes per case). They will be the exclusive home to Fast Break textured Rated Rookie autos with Gold, Pink and Black parallels for starters as well as Blue and Black base parallels (and likely more as parallel rainbows were not detailed). The Fast Break inserts will include Elite Dominators, The Rookies, Lights Out, Star Gazing and Rainmakers.
