What's buzz-worthy: Panini's multi-brand release drops for another run on the court with the same format as last year but with plenty of new names and some new looks and touches, too.

The Basics: New ink for this edition will be Phoenix Rookies and National Pride with some of the brands in this one including Plates & Patches, Majestic, Limited, Gala, Titanium, Gold Standard, Prizm Update, Donruss Optic Traded and more. There will be 1/1 Platinum parallels only found in hobby boxes for several sets. Rare finds will include Titanium Draft Position cards, Gala rookies and Gold Standard rookies. ... Among other hits will be Rookie Cornerstones autos, Hometown Heroes autos, Rookies & Stars Airborne autos, Playoff Hall of Fame autos and Prizm National Pride autos. Parallels will be in play here but were not detailed in advance for this release. ... Packs carry an increased suggested retail price of $41.67 ($250 per box).
