What's buzz-worthy: Contenders Optic's third release is one that includes an autograph in every box and more for fans to chase in this colorful Optichrome-stock release.

The Basics: These boxes will include two inserts, two parallels and one base card atop the ink. Among the autos will be Rookie Tickets, Rookie Ticket variations, veteran Season Tickets and 1983 Tribute -- all with on-card sigs. There will be parallels for those, of course, but the parallels were not detailed in advance. ... Among the inserts will be Uniformity, Superstars die-cuts, Lottery Ticket, Hoop Dream, All-Star Aspirations, Playing the Numbers Game, Team Tandems, Uniformity, Pick N Roll, and Suite Shots -- all with at least Red and Blue Cracked Ice parallels. ... Base card parallels will include Silver, Red, Blue (/99), Orange (/49), Green Pulsar (/25), Black Pandora ("SSP"), Gold (/10) and 1/1 Gold Vinyl. ... Boxes carry an increased suggested retail price of $250 up from last year's $125.
