What's buzz-worthy: Obsidian arrives on the hardwood once again with the top NBA rookies and plenty more in tow as part of this colorful and textured release.

The Basics: There will be two inserts or parallel cards per box along with the base cards and hits. ...

In the mix this time will be rookie jersey autos and Rookie Ink cards with Electric Etch Purple, Orange, Green, Yellow, Red, and 1/1 White Mojo parallels just like last year. (Full parallel details were not offered.) Also in play will be veteran ink in Aurora and Matrix Material auto sets. Joining them in the auto lineup will be Galaxy, Lightning Strike, Onyx and Volcanic. ... New inserts this year will be Supernova and Eclipse cards and they will be joined by Pitch Black and Vitreous cards. ... Boxes will carry an increased suggested retail price of $175.
