What: 2020-21 Panini Origins basketball cards

What's buzz-worthy: Origins hits the hardwood for its sophomore season with a new crop of rookies (mocks here use last year's players) and plenty of ink and energy.

The Basics: There will be two parallels and three base cards per box in this one atop the hits -- the same format as last year. The base set this time will include Red, Blue, Orange, Pink, Turqoise, Gold (/10), Green and 1/1 Black cards -- full details not revealed there or any rainbows in this release. ... The rookie jersey auto cards will include at least Green, Gold and Black parallels, while there also will be standard rookie autos, gold-ink autos and silver-ink autos. Ink will be found for rookies, veterans and past greats in this one. Also in play will be rookie patch auto booklets, rookie jumbo jerseys and Six-star Signatures. ... Boxes carry an increased suggested retail price of $150. ... Note: All RCs shown here use last year's players on these card mocks.
