What's buzz-worthy: A new year of Prizm arrives with the same format as last year but with a new crop of rookies (just an early mock or two in gallery using last year's players) and some new nods to the rich history of the brand.

The Basics: New this year? Prizm Flashback cards that showcase 15 top players on the 2012-13 Prizm design with a rainbow of parallels down to just one copy (Black). ... Boxes will contain 22 Prizms and 10 inserts atop the two autos, while the 300-card base set will include a number of parallels including hobby-only 1/1 Black, Black Gold, Gold (/10) and Mojo Prizms. ... Autographs will include Sensational Signatures, Signatures and Rookie Signatures with each having their own parallel rainbows. ... Inserts will include but aren't limited to Fearless, Downtown, Fireworks and Widescreen. Each 12-card pack will carry an increased suggested retail price of $29 ($350 per box). ... Note: Some Rookie Cards are mocked up here are using last year's class and we'll add new rookie images here when they become available.

Update: Additional images from all formats have been added to the gallery. For FOTL boxes, there will be exclusive Blue, Gold, Green and 1/1 Black Shimmer Prizm parallels. Those boxes will have 112 12-card packs (12 boxes per case) with two Shimmers, two autos, 22 Prizms and 10 inserts per box.

Update: Fast Break boxes for this one will include one autograph, one rookie variation, 12 Prizm parallels and six inserts. Boxes will include 18 five-card packs and there will be 20 boxes per case. Among the Fast Break parallel colors will be Blue, Red, Purple, Pink, Bronze and Neon Green. On the insert front, there will be Downtown Bound, Fireworks, Widescreen, Prizm Flashback and Fearless cards to chase, while Fast Break autographs will only be found here and among their parallels will be Gold and Black parallels (rainbows not fully revealed for any sets here).

Update: Choice boxes will include one autograph, two Silver Prizms, three Blue-Yellow-Green Prizms and then two other Prizm parallels per box -- that's it -- with 20 boxes per case. They will include Tiger Stripe, Green (/8), Nebula (above) and other parallel types only found in Choice. Sensational Signatures cards will be found as Green cards here while Signatures and Rookie Signatures will have Red and Green among their colors. (Full rainbows were not disclosed for this one.)
