What's buzz-worthy: Historic Autographs turns its attention toward making booklet cards that include a vintage card and an autograph together with a Hall of Famer in every box -- and strong shots at some MLB legends.

The Basics: The vintage cards will include "nearly every card series from 1909 through 1949" -- a lineup that includes T205, T206, T207, M116, Cracker Jacks, E120, E121, E122, V61, Strip cards, DeLong, U.S. Caramel, Goudey, Diamond Stars, Batter Up, Play Ball, Tip Tops, Bowman, R346 Blue Tint, M&P and Sewell Greats, according to the company. ... Among the legends to be found here? Walter Johnson, Satchel Paige, Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Ty Cobb, Roy Campanella, Lou Gehrig and Joe DiMaggio and every Hall of Famer has at least two sigs to be found. Every case will have a Group A player or two Group B players. ... A-players include Ruth (3), Gehrig (2), Cobb, Honus Wagner, Johnson, Robinson, Paige, Napoleon Lajoie, Eddie Collins, Jimmie Foxx, Mel Ott, Rogers Hornsby, Tony Lazzeri, Tris Speaker and Roy Campanella. ... B-players will include Mickey Cochrane, Frank Baker, Jim Bottomley, Kiki Cuyler, Dizzy Dean, Joe DiMaggio, Hank Greenberg, Goose Goslin, Lefty Grove, Harry Heilmann, Chuck Klein, Connie Mack, Rabbit Maranville, Herb Pennock, Eppa Rixey, Al Simmons, Pie Traynor, Dazzy Vance, Arky Vaughan, Paul Waner and Ted Williams. ... Some notable cards are also found here with Rookie Cards for Stan Musial, Yogi Berra, Bob Feller, Richie Ashburn, Gil Hodges and Pee Wee Reese among the many legends to be found. ... HA also broke these down via "era" in the collation with Era 1 (1909-30) one in every three boxes, Era 2 (1932-41) four to six cards per box and Era 3 (1943-49) two to three times per box.
