What's buzz-worthy: Absolute takes the field once again with three hits per pack and "the perfect balance of nostalgic hits with a modern twist."

The Basics: There will be four inserts and two serial-numbered parallel cards atop the hits in every box when this one arrives. ... Among the autograph possibilities will be Iconic Ink cards as well as dual- and triple-auto cards with that name. That will include a mix of past and present stars as well as prospects. There also will be Rookie Baseball Material Signatures with rookie autos on baseball leather pieces. ... On the memorabilia side, there will be Tools of the Trade cards once again with ink and mem -- at least two pieces but as many as six per card. There also will be Rookie Materials and Team Tandems cards -- both only in hobby packs. ... Among standard inserts will be One-Two Punch (10 duos), Rookie Round Up (25 rookies) and Absolute Legends (20 stars). ... Base parallels will include hobby-only Silver (/199), Spectrum Red (/99), Spectrum Gold (/10) and 1/1 Spectrum Black as well as printing plates. ... Boxes carry a suggested retail price of $200 ($100 per pack).

Update (retail details): This one will have two-pack blaster boxes (20 boxes per case) with one autograph or memorabilia card per box as well as two Spectrum Blue parallels, two inserts and two insert parallels. Retail-exclusive cards will include Rookie Threads and Rookie Threads Duals memorabilia that will have their own parallel rainbows. Details were not released but you can look for Gold and Black versions among the mix.
