What's buzz-worthy: Gold Standard returns with a familiar look and feel for another season on the gridiron with "more rookies than ever before and brand-new autograph inserts."

The Basics: The base set (/99) for this one will include 100 cards, though you'll get no more than two per box and they'll sometimes be replaced by parallels -- see the breakdown below. There also will be 100 cards in the rookie autograph set with parallels there being a new inclusion. ... Rookie jersey autos will have single-, double- and triple- swatch versions with parallels and joining them on the hits side there will be Gold Scripts, Gold Jacket Signatures, Double Standard autos, Super Bowl Diamond Signatures, Super Bowl Diamond Signatures Duals and Golden Shield Signatures. New for hits will be Golden Boots, Golden Nuggets and Golden Gloves on the autograph side while other mem cards will include Hall of Gold Threads, Gold Gear, Gold Rush, White Gold, Mother Lode, and Golden Pairs. ... Boxes carry a slightly higher suggested retail price of $170. ... Note: The rookies seen here are mocks to show how new NFL rookies will be in their pro uniforms.
