What's buzz-worthy: Phoenix arrives for its fifth run on the football field with new rookies and some new inclusions but the familiar color- and parallel-fueled format that people have come to expect.

The Basics: Beyond the hits, there will be 12 parallels, 12 Rookie Cards and nine inserts per box this time (same as last year) with "more more Optichrome than ever before." The base set will include 100 cards with each having 13 parallels -- see the gallery -- and then there will be 100 more Rookie Cards atop of that. The basic rookie autos will be parallels off of the RCs. ... Rookies will be found in three auto-mem sets -- RPS rookie auto jersey and dual jerseys as well as Rising Rookie material signatures cards. There will be prime cards with pieces of gloves, helmets and footballs. Other memorabilia cards will include RPS memorabilia and jumbo memorabilia as well as veteran materials -- all with parallels with detail noted in the gallery. ... New this time will be En Feugo, Regeneration and Phoenician inserts on the case level and other new inclusions will be Phoenix Fabrics, Star Signs, Rising Star Signatures, Flame Throwers, Hot Routes, Fire Forged and Game Over. ... These boxes once again carry a suggested retail price of $120 ($10 per pack).
