What's buzz-worthy: The WNBA gets its first Prizm release, and it's one that's loaded with more than 30 parallels or inserts per box for the inaugural set.

The Basics: Packs will contain 12 cards this time around and boxes will include a total of 22 Prizm cards and 10 other inserts atop of the two autos. ... Parallels were not specifically detailed but Black, Mojo, Gold and Black-Gold Prizm parallels will be hobby-only finds for this one with Silvers perhaps being the big draw across all formats. ... Signers will include stars of the past and present with Silver, Mojo (/25), Gold (/10) and 1/1 Black versions that will be hobby-only finds. ... Among the seven insert sets will be Fireworks with Mojo, Gold and Black parallels (same volumes) to be found for them. ... Packs will carry a suggested retail price of $10 ($120 per box).

Update: New images have been added and this one will also have blasters with Green and Green Pulsar Prizms (/25), a Fanatics version with Green Ice cards, and a premium boxed set version with its own finish. The sets (/99) will include one autographed card (/10) in every 101-card box.

My daughter is an amazing player. She will not embrace the WNBA because “no one knows any of the players”. She has her sights on the NBA. I’m trying to get her excited about women’s basketball.
