What's buzz-worthy: Spectra hits the gridiron once again with plenty of hits, plenty of color, new NFL rookies in pro uniforms and more.

The Basics: There will be five base cards or parallels and one insert per box atop the hits. The base set will include 135 cards with an array of parallels (see gallery below) with Hyper cards new to the lineups. Among the hits will be Rookie Patch Autos, Champion Signatures (Super Bowl winners), Firework Fabric, Championship Gear and Respectra dual-mem cards showing post-game jersey swaps. Radiant RPAs, High Voltage memorabilia cards and Sky High signatures will also be in the mix. ... Among the inserts -- there are some new ones this year -- are Tribute where Peyton Manning and Drew Brees will get the nod along with autographed versions of their cards. Joining them are new Rising Above, Brilliance and Dynamic Duos sets. ... The Champion Signatures, Illustrious Legends, Sky High Signatures, Vested Veterans Autographs and Tribute Autographs will all have on-card sigs. ... Packs carry an suggested retail price of $85 apiece ($340 per box).
