First Buzz: 2020 Topps Baseball's Finest baseball cards

What's buzz-worthy: Topps adds to its Finest offerings with this Flashbacks release that throws things back to its 1993 set but with today's players and some tougher odds that today's collectors might not be used to.

The Basics: This one arrives as a 199-card set with Refractors dropping just one per box and standard autographs even tougher finds at one in 108 packs (six boxes). Each card has just five parallels -- standard Refractors and then Gold (/50), Black (/25) and Red (/5) versions to chase. Autographs (see checklist link up top) include 1993 Finest Flashback autos (/20 max), All-Star autos and standard ink which will have Refractors (/20) as well as Gold (/15), Orange (/10), Red (/5) and 1/1 Superfractors. The Rookie Cards also will be a key draw here with Luis Robert among the possibilities. This one was originally offered to 582 Montgomery Club members and then via an apparently lottery for others to get the option to buy boxes after that.
